I have been enjoying my time as an auctioneer and hope that you will consider joining me in this journey through life. I have always enjoyed traveling and meeting new people. Last week I had the pleasure of putting on an Auction in beautiful Buckeye Lake Ohio. I am familiar with the area because that is where my parents retired to. As they advance in age, they drive less at night. I live over an hour away and thus, they have never been to one of my auctions. So.... I loaded up the kids to help and took the auction to them! I think of my type of auction, which I affectionately call "The Vagabond Auction" as a country style auction, which is less about specific merchandise, even though I try to bring items that please, and more about a night out that is family friendly and fun. I can go to the store and buy stuff. But it is much more fun to discover a hidden treasure, or to see what kind of a deal I can get at auction. We all get to meet new people and chat about life, and of course... eat. As we expand, we will be delving into new area as well.
Sellers, I want you to pay close attention. As I spread my wings and cover larger territory, while fun, there is a method to my madness which affects you. The wider net I cast, the more people I meet, when it comes to specific genres, specific collectibles, your estate, I am going to know who likes what where and additionally, if we do an onsite auction at your place, I will have many different areas and people to pool from, unlike many auctioneers that choose to stay local. So, when you have a valuable item come up, instead of calling 1 or 2 people, hoping for the best, I may be able to contact 5-6, maybe 10 people frome nearby areas, that are familiar with me and my style, that will help build up that feeding frenzy on your item.
