As 2018 rolls onward, almost 1/3 of the way through January, we are moving and shaking, although in a good way. We are set to sign the lease on Main St Coshocton, as Ben Schafer Realty, Shawn J Dostie, Auctioneer, Ed and Ben Schafer Auctioneers, become closer and closer to being one. I am excited that we are working toward bringing our brand of Realty and Auctions to the town I moved to and fell in love with 20 years ago! While I had no idea where life would lead me, I knew that this was the town I wanted to be a part of.
As an auctioneer and real estate agent, I have traveled far and wide to learn my craft, then joined who I consider the best team in the region. Believe me when I say that I am blessed to be a part of this team. This team is 3rd generation, and very solid in both professionalism, as well as being open to new concepts that complement what they have done for years. Yet at the base, we are lead by a man... a young man, at 40, that exemplifies what is good in this world. I wouldn't be a part of this if we didn't fit.
We are a regional realty and auction company. Last year we auctioned roughly 2123 acres, 9 residential homes, businesses, equipment, and personal property, both live and online. We conducted around 54 auctions. We are full time, professional, and good at what we do. I am happy to share that we will be the auction company at Relay for Life this year as well.
As a real estate agent, I will be specializing in rural property, and farms/land. As an auctioneer, this is where the bulk of my experience, and my passion lies, as shown in November when our services netted our sellers a whopping 1.379M for their 140 acre tract. Now, I have to caution you. All ground in Coshocton County is not worth $9,000-$11,500.00 per acre, but our process, gives you the opportunity to maximize your value, while offering you the supreme security.
